Elizabeth Garard
Chief Financial Officer & Secretary
Elizabeth Garard has over a decade of experience in nonprofit management. She has been the Chief Operating Officer of Huya Aniwa’s sister organization, Aniwa©, for the last four years. With a hands-on role in developing operational systems, Elizabeth has been pivotal in steering Aniwa’s growth and significantly enhancing the organization’s impact. Her expertise in digital strategy and finance management led to the co-founding of Aniwa Digital. Guided by Aniwa’s mission to foster global unity and spiritual growth by celebrating the diverse traditions of Indigenous cultures, Aniwa Digital is a leading-edge online platform that brings the wisdom of Indigenous elders to a worldwide audience.
Before her roles at Huya Aniwa and Aniwa, Elizabeth previously founded and successfully ran Nap Girls, a nonprofit that nurtures creative and professional growth among women in the music industry. She ran Nap Girls for seven years.
Educated at Vanderbilt University with a double major in Marketing and Gender Studies, Elizabeth also holds a Master's degree in Social Entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California. Her educational foundation has fueled her ongoing commitment to innovative, sustainable practices in nonprofit management.
